Pakistan, Sept. 5 -- A Chinese national was rescued alive from a tunnel in Nepal on Saturday. He survived for 10 days after devastating floods struck the Himalayan region. Nepal Army officials identified the man as Lu Haitao. Rescuers found him inside a 225-metre tunnel at the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project. The rescue came after floods and mudslides killed more than 1,300 people. Authorities continue searching for hundreds of people trapped inside tunnels.
