Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- A few days ago, I met a Chinese national in Islamabad who is running a tourism business in Pakistan. His work mainly caters to Chinese visitors coming to the country. He provides travel arrangements, guidance, local transportation and assistance in accessing different tourist destinations.

As we talked, I found myself thinking that this was a business opportunity that Pakistani young people could also have identified. Chinese tourists are coming to Pakistan, and young Pakistanis familiar with their language and needs could build businesses around this growing market. Yet, in this case, a Chinese entrepreneur had spotted the opportunity before us.
