Pakistan, April 24 -- China has strongly rejected US President Donald Trump's claim regarding an Iranian-flagged cargo ship. Beijing said the vessel was not a Chinese "gift" to Iran as alleged. The response comes amid rising regional tensions and disputed maritime actions.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said the allegation was baseless and untrue. He stressed that normal international trade should not be disrupted by political claims. He added that trade relations between countries must remain free from interference.
