Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- China announced new countermeasures against the United States after Washington imposed fresh trade restrictions. Beijing said the measures aim to protect its economic interests and respond to US sanctions.

China's Commerce Ministry announced restrictions on drone exports and blacklisted six US companies on Wednesday. The ministry said recent US actions harmed China's legitimate rights and interests.
