Pakistan, May 27 -- A child lost his life while three others sustained injuries after a temporary shelter-house caught fire near Samungli Road in Quetta on Tuesday, according to reports.

Initial reports stated that a nomadic family was residing in temporary shelters in the area when one of the huts suddenly caught fire. The blaze quickly spread, resulting in the death of a child on the spot and injuries to three others.

The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The cause of the fire could not be immediately determined, while authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
