Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Chehlum processions of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala concluded peacefully across Pakistan as authorities implemented extensive security measures to ensure public safety. Thousands of mourners participated in processions and religious gatherings, while volunteers arranged food, drinks and sabeels, with special facilities also provided for female participants throughout the country.

Punjab remained peaceful throughout the observance, with no major security incident reported anywhere in the province.
