Pakistan, May 25 -- Pakistan's entertainment industry joined national mourning after a deadly explosion struck a passenger train in Quetta, killing at least 14 people and injuring around 20 others, according to officials.

The blast occurred on Sunday morning as the train was passing through a railway crossing in the provincial capital. The explosion reportedly derailed several bogies and damaged nearby vehicles waiting at the crossing, causing panic in the surrounding area. Authorities said the victims included passengers, pedestrians, residents of nearby houses, and security personnel, including members of the Frontier Constabulary.
