Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening defence and security cooperation with France during talks in Rawalpindi. Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir held discussions with senior French officials at General Headquarters. The meeting focused on bilateral ties, regional security and areas of mutual interest.
Nicolas Roche, France's defence and national security official, met Field Marshal Munir on Tuesday. France's Ambassador to Pakistan Jean-Noel Poirier also attended the meeting at GHQ. Both sides discussed cooperation in defence and security matters, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.
