Pakistan, April 4 -- A vehicle was swept away by a strong flood current on the Pak-Afghan highway near Neki Khel, leaving at least three people dead, rescue officials confirmed.

According to rescue sources, the incident occurred after heavy overnight rainfall caused flash flooding in seasonal streams. The sudden surge of water engulfed carried it away, trapping those inside. Rescue teams later recovered three bodies from the floodwaters, while the search for a fourth missing person is still underway.

Authorities said the region has been experiencing intense rainfall, leading to dangerous conditions in low-lying areas and along key roads. Overflowing streams and fast-moving water have created serious risks for commuters and residents.
