Pakistan, May 21 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued with a bullish trend on Wednesday, gaining 1,934.74 points, a positive change of 1.19 percent, closing at 164,831.42 points against 162,896.68 points on the last trading day, according to PSX data.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 386.394 million shares with a traded value of Rs 20.125 billion, compared to 391.935 million shares valuing Rs 22.975 billion in the previous session. The market capitalization increased to Rs 18.243 trillion from Rs 18.081 trillion a day earlier. Out of 483 active companies in the ready market, 302 advanced, 141 declined, and 40 remained unchanged.
