Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- England strengthened their position in the first Test against Pakistan at Headingley after a strong second day. Harry Brook scored a rapid 91 to punish Pakistan after they dropped him early. England reached 366-8 at stumps after rain disrupted the morning session. They now lead Pakistan by 195 runs after dismissing them for 171.
Brook survived a chance at the beginning of his innings. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha dropped an edge at second slip off Khurram Shahzad. Brook then attacked Pakistan's bowling and quickly moved toward another Test century. However, Ali Usman eventually dismissed him leg before wicket. Brook faced 93 balls and struck 13 boundaries.
