Pakistan, May 2 -- Israel provided the UAE with an advanced laser defense system during the Iran war, according to a British newspaper report. The report said these systems aimed to strengthen protection against missile and drone threats. This development highlights growing defense cooperation between the two countries during a tense regional period.
According to the report, Israel supplied a surveillance system called "Spectro" to the United Arab Emirates. This system can detect incoming drones from a distance of about 20 kilometers. It is especially effective against Shahed-type drones, which have been widely used in regional conflicts.
