Pakistan, March 3 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a massive bearish trend on Monday, losing 16,089.17 points, a negative change of 9.57 percent, to close at 151,973.00 points compared to 168,062.17 points on the previous trading day, according to PSX data.

During the session, the ready market recorded a trading volume of 809,550,101 shares with a traded value of Rs 48.512 billion, against 536,241,529 shares valuing Rs 25.540 billion in the previous session. Market capitalization decreased to Rs 17.185 trillion from Rs 18.930 trillion a day earlier.

Out of 483 active companies in the ready market, 21 advanced, 413 declined, and 49 remained unchanged.
