Pakistan, Sept. 26 -- At least 11 people were killed and 20 others injured in a blast near Dera Ismail Khan. The explosion targeted a police checkpost in Aman Mela on Saturday. Rescue 1122 officials confirmed the casualties as emergency teams continued operations.
The victims included eight men, two women and a child, according to Rescue 1122. Several injured people included police officers, customs personnel and two civilians. Rescue teams were also working to recover victims from debris at the site.
