Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended warm greetings to the nation on the 79th Independence Day, paying tribute to all those, who sacrificed for Pakistan and to those, who continue to defend its freedom, sovereignty and dignity.

He said that Pakistan was achieved through the peaceful political struggle and unwavering determination of its people. "Our independence is a sacred trust, earned through sacrifice and sustained through courage, unity and commitment to the ideals for which Pakistan was created," he said.
