Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- The benchmark KSE-100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued its bearish trajectory on Wednesday, shedding 1,109.15 points, a negative change of 0.62 percent, to close at 176,846.36 points against 177,955.51 points recorded in the previous trading session.

The ready market witnessed a trading volume of 787.893 million shares, compared to 1.038 billion shares traded in the previous session, while the traded value decreased to Rs39.567 billion from Rs50.741 billion. Market capitalisation declined to Rs19.814 trillion from Rs19.906 trillion recorded a day earlier.
