Pakistan, July 18 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has dismissed reports claiming Rohit Sharma will retire from one-day internationals after the third ODI against England. The board said no discussions have taken place regarding his retirement. The clarification comes amid growing speculation about the Indian captain's future.

BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said reports describing the Lord's ODI as Rohit's final international appearance were inaccurate. According to Indian media, Saikia stated that the board has not discussed the batter's retirement and continues to back him.
