Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Pakistan is witnessing a sharp rise in battery storage adoption as solar consumers increasingly choose to store electricity instead of supplying excess power to the national grid. The shift follows the country's move from net metering to net billing, encouraging households and businesses to maximise self-consumption. As a result, consumers have invested around Rs126 billion in battery storage over the past 30 months to reduce dependence on expensive grid electricity.
