Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau said security forces foiled an alleged suicide attack plot. He claimed the group Fitanah al-Hind tried to recruit two minor girls for the attack. The minister made the claims during a press conference in Quetta.
Langau said the girls had allegedly faced pressure to carry out a suicide bombing. He identified them as 16-year-old Zainab and 12-year-old Fatima. According to him, the girls came from Makran and were later taken into custody.
The minister claimed the girls spent about 40 days in confinement. He said they allegedly received instructions to carry out a suicide explosion. Security forces later prevented the alleged attack, according to Langau.
