Pakistan, Oct. 21 -- Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau on Tuesday reaffirmed the provincial government's commitment to fully supporting security forces in the fight against terrorism, saying that the menace could only be defeated through collective national resolve, effective legislation and close coordination among all state institutions. Addressing a press conference at the Civil Secretariat Quetta alongside Additional Chief Secretary Home Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and Aide to the Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs Shahid Rind, the minister said terrorism remained a serious threat to the country and that, under the prevailing circumstances, political differences must be set aside in favour of national interests.
