Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that there is no precedent anywhere in the world of successful negotiations with armed terrorist groups, stressing that the state must remain firm in its resolve to defeat terrorism.

Speaking in a private news channel program, the Chief Minister noted that the situation in Balochistan cannot be described as either ideal or as bleak as portrayed by certain external narratives. He emphasized that the reality lies between these extremes, and that negative perceptions and one-sided narratives harm not only the province but also Pakistan's broader national interest and government efforts.
