Pakistan, May 8 -- Pakistan's star batter Babar Azam's injury is not considered serious, according to team sources. He was ruled out of the first Test against Bangladesh as a precaution after experiencing knee discomfort during a practice session. Medical staff carried out an MRI scan to assess the issue.

Sources said Babar felt pain in his left knee during a training session on Wednesday. Following the complaint, team management decided to rest him to avoid any risk of aggravation. Officials stressed that the decision was precautionary rather than performance-related.
