Pakistan, April 24 -- National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said there is no mistrust between the United States and Iran. He stated that negotiations between the two countries are expected to begin soon. His remarks came during a public event in Lahore.

He said Pakistan has played a positive role in promoting regional dialogue. He expressed optimism that diplomatic efforts would soon resume. He added that talks could even be held in Islamabad in the near future.
