Avengers, Sept. 26 -- Endgame Encore is leading the US box office after returning to cinemas with an estimated $11 million haul. Disney and Marvel Studios expect the re-release to earn between $23 million and $26 million across 3,060 theatres. The film's lifetime domestic total could reach about $884.3 million by Sunday.

Sony's Resident Evil is currently in second place during its second weekend. The film earned $6.5 million on Friday and is projected to collect about $22 million over three days. Its domestic total could reach around $102.1 million by the end of Sunday.
