Pakistan, July 29 -- Pakistan's Lawn Bowls team started its Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games campaign with a defeat against Australia in the team event. Australia secured a 2-0 victory after dominating the opening match of the competition.

The Australian team won the first set 5-4 after a closely fought contest against Pakistan. Both sides displayed strong performances before Australia secured a narrow advantage in the opening round.
