Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has warned that Pakistan faces serious risks from climate change. He highlighted ongoing government efforts to address climate threats and strengthen disaster response systems. He also stressed the need for stronger financing to manage climate-related challenges.
Aurangzeb said floods have caused significant damage to infrastructure and affected communities. He said the government continues efforts to improve disaster management systems. Strengthening early warning systems also remains among the government's key priorities.
