The incident took place during a performance at DHA Sports Club. Viral videos on social media showed Atif Aslam performing when the fan suddenly approached the stage.

The singer initially responded in a friendly manner, posing for a picture with the fan and attempting to keep the atmosphere pleasant. However, the situation changed when the woman continued trying to take more selfies and refused to leave the stage despite repeated gestures from event staff asking her to step down.
