Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- A suspect Saad Abbasi arrested in the murder case of martyred Group Captain Asim Tariq was produced before an Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) after completing a 7-day physical remand, while prosecutors requested a further 20-day remand for investigation. The prosecution informed the court that the pistol allegedly used in the killing and a mobile phone have been recovered, but additional inquiry, including a polygraph test, is still required. The case was heard by Duty Judge Rakhshanda Shaheen at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad.
