Pakistan, Aug. 20 -- An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Wednesday rejected the post-arrest bail applications of three workers of a banned religious party in a case involving rioting, arson and an attack on police.
ATC Judge Shahid Sikandar announced the verdict after hearing arguments on the bail applications filed by the accused.
The court rejected the bail pleas of Nabeel Ahmed, Hafiz Tahir and Shehryar.
The accused are facing a case registered as FIR No. 2851/25 at Gujjarpura Police Station. The prosecution opposed their release on bail, arguing that the accused were allegedly involved in arson and violence against police personnel.
