Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Arshad Nadeem has broken his silence after failing to defend his Commonwealth Games javelin title, saying the unusually cold weather in Glasgow affected his performance.

Responding to criticism on social media, the Olympic gold medallist apologised to fans for not meeting expectations and stressed that every athlete experiences both good and bad days.
