Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has ruled out compromise on national security, Press TV reported. He said Iranian forces would respond firmly to any threats against the country. His remarks came amid discussions about Iran's security situation after a recent 12-day war. Araghchi stressed that national security remained a firm priority for Tehran.
Speaking at a consultative meeting, Araghchi addressed participants of the 40th International Islamic Unity Conference. He discussed Iran's situation following the conflict and recent developments involving the United States and Israel. The foreign minister also described the challenges Iran faced during what he called recent aggression.
