Pakistan, March 17 -- A Pakistani national has been killed in the United Arab Emirates following a ballistic missile attack, officials confirmed on Monday. According to UAE authorities, the Emirati air defense system successfully intercepted the missile, but debris from the strike fell in the Bani Yas area of Abu Dhabi, resulting in the death of a Pakistani citizen.

This marks the latest casualty among foreign nationals amid the recent wave of attacks in the UAE. The total number of fatalities in the recent incidents has now reached seven, including three Pakistanis. One Pakistani was killed in Dubai during a separate defensive operation, while two others lost their lives in Abu Dhabi.
