Pakistan, May 27 -- Large piles of animal waste have been reported in several parts of Islamabad during Eid al-Adha celebrations. As citizens across Pakistan continue performing animal sacrifices, concerns about sanitation and waste management have emerged in some residential neighborhoods. Moreover, residents complained about delayed cleanup operations in affected areas.

Reports indicated that several locations in Sector G-6 were heavily affected by uncollected animal remains. Furthermore, residents claimed that sanitation teams from the Capital Development Authority had not reached many areas on time. Therefore, waste continued accumulating on roadsides and near residential streets.
