Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has won a legal challenge against Thames Valley Police over search warrants used to raid his properties. A High Court judge confirmed the warrants were unlawful on Thursday.

Justice Nicholas Hilliard said a significant error occurred when authorities applied for and granted the warrants. Andrew had challenged the legality of the warrants through judicial review proceedings.

The warrants allowed police to search his former Windsor residence, Royal Lodge, and a property on the Sandringham Estate. Officers conducted the searches in February after arresting Andrew over alleged misconduct in public office.
