Pakistan, Nov. 6 -- The finalists in all five events of the All Pakistan National Ranking Badminton Tournament were confirmed after the semi-finals were played on Thursday at the badminton courts in Islamabad.

In the men's singles semi-finals, Shoaib Riaz of Army defeated Abdullah Siddique of WAPDA 15-9, 13-15, 15-11, while M Ali Larosh of WAPDA beat Raja Zulqarnain Haider of Army 15-10, 15-7 to set up the final. In the women's singles, Mahoor Shahzad of WAPDA overcame Umama Usman of SNGPL 15-8, 15-5, while Ammarah Ishtiaq of Army defeated her teammate Alja Tariq 15-12, 11-15, 15-7.
