Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- The federal government has transferred Islamabad Inspector General Ali Nasir Rizvi and appointed him NCCIA director general. The Establishment Division issued a notification on Saturday confirming the decision. Rizvi is a BS-20 officer and previously served in Punjab before joining Islamabad Police. The government made the appointment under the amended Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act. It also applied relevant provisions of the Civil Servants Act, 1973. The order took immediate effect and will remain valid until further orders.
