Pakistan, April 14 -- HIV infections have surged across Sindh, with nearly 900 cases reported in three months, including hundreds of children. The rise highlights serious public health risks linked to unsafe medical practices. The outbreak affects vulnerable communities across the province.
Health officials confirmed 894 new HIV cases during the first quarter of the year. Among those infected were 332 men, 204 women, and 29 transgender individuals. The data shows a widespread and persistent transmission pattern.
