Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- Adviser to Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah said AJK elections were proceeding peacefully, with the PML-N poised to form the next government.

He said polling in the third phase continued peacefully in Poonch Division, particularly Haveli and Bagh. Only a few isolated incidents were reported.

Sanaullah said polling began at 8am in Haveli and Bagh. Security forces controlled an incident at a police station and allowed voting to resume.

He said attempts were also made to disrupt polling at three stations in Bagh. However, he said no major violence was reported during the electoral process.
