Pakistan, July 25 -- The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Election Commission has warned political parties, candidates and government officials against violating the election code of conduct during the ongoing election campaign, following controversy over development promises made at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rallies.

The warning came after former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced several development initiatives, including the provision of 10 electric buses, while addressing election gatherings in Muzaffarabad and Mirpur.
