Pakistan, May 5 -- Agriculture and other chemical group imports into the country during the first 09 months of current financial year grew by 7.23 percent as compare to the imports of the corresponding period of the last year.

During the period from July-March 2025-26, agriculture chemicals worth of $7.769 billion were imported in order to fulfill the local requirements as compared to the imports of $7.245 billion of the same period of the last year, according the data of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

The import of the fertilizers manufactured during the period under review grew by 4.16 percent as 806,244 metric tons of fertilizer worth $522.495 million were imported as compared to the imports of 820,118 metric tons valued at $501....
