Pakistan, Sept. 1 -- Agricultural and other chemical croup imports into the country during the first month of the current financial year grew by 11.15 percent as compared to the imports of the corresponding period of the last year.

During the month of June 2026, agriculture and other chemicals worth $1.098 billion were imported as compared to the imports of $893.823 million of the same month of the last year, according the data of the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.

Meanwhile, 67,810 metric tons of fertilizers worth of $64.843 million were imported during the first month of the current financial year as compared to the imports of 71,096 metric tons valued at $42.229 million of the same month of the last year.
