Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Accountant General Sindh Miandad Rahujo on Tuesday said the main objective of the open katchahri was to provide people direct access to officials and discourage the involvement of agents in pension and other service-related matters. He urged employees to submit their cases personally to ensure transparent and timely redressal of their complaints.

He said most complaints were related to procedural delays and lack of awareness among employees. Help desks would soon be established in all government departments to guide employees about pension cases, while the Education Department had also decided to establish a help desk.
