Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- Afghan Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid says Kabul wants stronger relations with Pakistan. He also expects Saudi Arabia to play an important role. Mujahid made the comments during an interview with Arab media. He said Afghanistan wants continued dialogue and cooperation with Pakistan. The statement comes as both sides face ongoing issues requiring resolution.

Mujahid said Kabul welcomes efforts by Saudi Arabia and other countries. He described these efforts as useful for addressing disputes between Afghanistan and Pakistan. According to Mujahid, Saudi Arabia can make a positive contribution because of its friendly ties. He also expressed respect for Saudi efforts to facilitate dialogue.
