Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has maintained Pakistan's economic growth forecast at 3.7% for fiscal year 2027. The forecast remains below the government's 4% budget target. The bank also expects inflation to reach 8.3%, above the official 7% estimate.

The ADB retained its July growth forecast in its latest Asian Development Outlook. It had previously projected 4.5% growth for Pakistan in April. The bank said higher energy, logistics and agricultural costs could keep inflation above the central bank's medium-term target.
