Pakistan, Sept. 29 -- Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, in his message on the International Day for Universal Access to Information, emphasized that access to accurate and timely information is a fundamental right of every citizen. He noted that easy and equal access to information is essential for transparent and accountable governance.

He further stressed that in the digital age, ensuring the accuracy, credibility and authenticity of information is equally important. He underscored the need to promote media and information literacy among the public to help prevent the spread of fake and misleading information.
