Pakistan, July 13 -- Abu Dhabi has introduced special number plates for self-driving vehicles as part of its efforts to support autonomous transportation and improve road safety across the emirate.

According to local authorities, the new registration plates are designed to clearly identify both commercially operated autonomous vehicles and those currently undergoing testing. Officials said the initiative will make it easier for law enforcement agencies, regulators and road users to distinguish driverless vehicles from conventional cars.
