Pakistan, Sept. 2 -- Aaqib Javed has criticised Imam-ul-Haq for missing both innings of Pakistan's second Test against England at Lord's. Imam was ruled out after suffering a low-grade tear in his left calf before the match. However, Aaqib questioned whether the injury was serious enough to keep the batter from playing.
The PCB high-performance director said Imam should have attempted to bat despite the muscle problem. He described the situation as disappointing and said the batter would have to face an inquiry. Aaqib added that he could not claim Imam had faked the injury but questioned how a muscle pull prevented him from batting.
Imam missed the next two days of the Test before returning to warm up with the team on the fourth morning...
