Pakistan, Sept. 14 -- The drama Aap Ki Izzat examines how patriarchy, social pressure and unequal power can contribute to violence against women. The story follows Tabish, played by Ahsan Khan, who considers killing his wife Beena after years of abuse. However, the drama also examines the people and systems that make his violent thinking possible. It shifts attention from the individual killer toward the wider environment that enables such decisions.
