Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- A 60-day deadline for negotiations under a memorandum between the United States and Iran has expired. The deadline was linked to talks on sanctions and Iran's nuclear programme. However, negotiations did not begin during the specified period. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the United States violated the memorandum. Therefore, Tehran said the planned discussions could not move forward.
