Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- Pakistan Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority Chairman Bilal Bin Saqib has revealed that 40 million Pakistanis hold crypto accounts. He shared the figure while briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat. Bilal said young Pakistanis have helped make the country the world's third-largest crypto market. He also outlined plans to regulate the rapidly growing virtual asset sector.
According to Bilal, governments in countries including Dubai and Thailand are embracing virtual asset technology.
